Specialist marketer and distributor of Chinese consumer brands China International Duty Free (CIDF) has announced the listing of Yuxi Manor with DFS Group in Singapore Changi airport starting from today.
Yuxi Manor is the first organic Chinese cigarette and the listing follows a successful trial period at Hong Kong International airport where sales were better than expected. The premium cigarette is made from organic tobacco leaves and the tobacco is grown at The Manor in Yuxi Town in Yunman Province. Packaged by hand using only natural materials, the carton shows a sketch of the The Manor and surrounding area. The pack consists of two rows of eight cigarettes with each pack consisting of 16 sticks to emphasise the exclusivity and rarity of the product.
A company statement said: “Yuxi Manor has been available via exclusive retail outlets in China for many years, but as demand far outweighs supply it is extremely difficult to get hold of. We are happy to now offer it to those passengers travelling through Singapore Changi airport.”
